Why piss the kid off?

You're right on the Schwartz wanting Suh part, and I think he gets his guy.

Yeah Angerer is a tough dude. I think he translates perfectly to what we're doing at linebacker. He's contribute immediately on special teams and eventually be a guy who pushes Ruud for his job.

Don't be surprised if they snatch Brandon Spikes in the 3rd or 4th if (when) he falls. I don't like his speed in vertical coverage, but he's tough and makes plays.talbuchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13119314235317540650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16026927869015763.post-249374094979542512010-04-22T17:30:53.172-04:002010-04-22T17:30:53.172-04:00I wouldnt trade down; I would just let Detroit and...I wouldnt trade down; I would just let Detroit and TB go first. I thought about Detroit making a deal, but I immediately discounted the idea; I think Schwartz wants Suh so bad it hurts his teeth like he was chewing tinfoil. However, it might be that the Bucs would be willing to swap with someone, since, as you alluded to on the JCS, while they like McCoy, they probably dont love him enough to not listen to at least take a call. In any case, we are about to find out.

The more I read about that Angerer kid, the more I hope he's there in the 5th.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16026927869015763.post-80182505973396495252010-04-22T15:07:47.124-04:002010-04-22T15:07:47.124-04:00Hey TPE. If you swap picks with TB, you can count on DET working out a deal with whoever wants to jump ahead of STL to get Bradford. If STL wants Bradford (and I'm very confident they do), they'll take him at #1.

Yeah, I've been a big Spievey fan this year and take a bit of pride in being the only one talking him. I'd love him in R3 if he's still there. We'll see.

I don't have us getting a lineman with one of our original picks because I really want Starks and Angerer in the R4/R5 area, but if we get another pick or the Bucs choose to go OL there, I'd prefer Marshall Newhouse from TCU. He's a versatile guy who might be able to help out at both G and T.talbuchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13119314235317540650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16026927869015763.post-32860205017968948792010-04-22T14:56:46.310-04:002010-04-22T14:56:46.310-04:00I probably should look up how the finances shake o...I probably should look up how the finances shake out for the 1st vs. the 3rd pick. Given that neither the Bucs nor Lions are in the quarterback business, maybe it would be a good idea for the Rams to pass until they have selected their guys and get Bradford, if that is in fact who they have decided to select. There is still part of me that believes the Bradford to the Rams outcome is wishful thinking by we Buc fans. Guess we will know in few hours.

Guys on NFL-Sirius have been all about Spievey today as well as that huge tackle at UMass. Spievey seems to be moving up and quickly.

I guess you dont think there is anyone available in 4 or 5 that will be an upgrade on Zuttah. Or do you think Sears is a sure bet to be on the roster and playing in 2010?

TPEAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
